Ingredients
Matcha Cookies
- 100 g butter (room temperature)
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl white sugar
- 1 dl brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp matcha powder (preferably from WAO Matcha)
Banana Frosting
- 250 g cream cheese
- 2 tbsp condensed milk
- 1 banana (half mashed, half sliced)
- Crushed biscuits (for texture)
How to make

Make the cookie dough
Whisk together butter, sugars, and egg until smooth and creamy. -
Add dry ingredients
Fold in flour, baking powder, vanilla, and matcha powder. Mix until just combined. -
Chill
Let the dough rest in the fridge for about 20 minutes. -
Prepare the frosting
Whisk cream cheese until smooth. Add condensed milk and banana. Mix until creamy, then fold in crushed biscuits for extra crunch. -
Bake
Scoop the cookies onto a baking tray and bake at 175°C (350°F) for 12–15 minutes. -
Finish
Let the cookies cool completely. Top with frosting and finish with extra crushed biscuits.
